In the ISG seminar this Friday (1 – 2 pm, DBH 3011), the ISG faculty will give a talk on “How grants and funding work in academia.” We will discuss how faculty write proposals, receive awards, and spend the funds to support students and research activities. We will also emphasize the importance of PhD students participating in proposal writing.
