Yicong is a recipient of a UC Irvine 2025 Most Promising Future Faculty Award. Presented by the Division of Teaching Excellence and Innovation with support from the Graduate Division, the honor recognizes graduate students whose teaching, research, and service demonstrate exceptional promise as future academic leaders.

Yicong will be celebrated at the 33rd Annual Celebration of Teaching during UCI Teach Day on September 18, 2025. The ceremony will feature an engraved award and a $5,000 monetary prize, and friends and family are warmly invited to attend.
