Internet-of-Things, Middleware, Machine Learning, Optimization, Distributed Systems

Andrew is a 3rd year Ph.D. student under the supervision of Professor Nalini Venkatasubramanian. His general research interests revolve around middleware, data mining and analytics, optimization, and machine learning. His current research looks at the model and data-driven methods to support resilience in infrastructure systems. In this context, he is interested in optimizing system performance, applying machine learning techniques, and analyzing theoretical bounds on solution quality.
